Blizzard Entertainment Announces Russian-language Version of World of Warcraft      
PARIS, France - Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced that World of Warcraft, its award-winning, subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game, is to be fully localised in Russian for release in 2008. The Russian version will be the fifth officially supported European language, complementing the existing English, French, German and Spanish versions.
 
World Of Warcraft Surpasses 1 Million Customer Milestone in North America      
Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced that World of Warcraft, its subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), has reached more than one million paying customers in North America. This brings the total population for Blizzard's critically acclaimed game, the largest MMORPG in the world, to more than four million paying customers.
 
World of Warcraft Euro Beta Date      
Blizzard Entertainment today announced that July 5th will be the date for European closed beta test sign-up of its eagerly awaited MMORPG, World of Warcraft. Testers will be able to register online through the official European Blizzard Web sites for the English, French, and German speaking markets.
 
Wrath Of The Lich King Alpha Begins      
Blizzard Entertainment made the somewhat audacious statement that the developer was targeting annual expansions for its massively popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft. The news was smirk-inducing, considering it came nearly a year after the game's first expansion--The Burning Crusade--was announced and just a few weeks after the add-on had entered alpha testing. However, thanks in large part to ample and substantive in-game content updates, Blizzard has had no problem growing its rabid fan base past 10 million subscribers.
