Using your favorite high-damage spell to pull a mob is not the best idea in the world. For one, it can make it very difficult for other players, such as warriors, to pull it off you (in the case of taunt resists, etc), increasing the likelihood that you will go down. Secondly, high-threat spells have a much higher chance of pulling other creatures around the mob, which can also be dangerous. |

Also called pulling, try to use a ranged weapon or spell to begin combat with most creatures in the distance. This gives you an extra hit before melee combat begins. If you have one, try to use a powerful attack to inflict the most damage before a fight. |

PvP also refers to PvP realms, which are Realms where Open Combat happens much more often since around level 20 players will be pushed into adventuring in contested territories. By level 30, pretty much all your leveling will be done in contested territories. |

A quest is a task given by an NPC to a Player character that yields a reward when completed. However some quests can come from right-clicking signs (usually the "Wanted Poster" type), reading scrolls or documents, opening containers, using certain looted items. |

The PvP server is designed to allow open combat between members of the Horde and the Alliance. As such, players on this server have a greater ability to resolve issues on their own. Based on this, certain policies may be different from those on non-PvP servers. |

There's a first time for everything, right? That even includes the World of Warcraft. That's why so many people have skipped over the entire fishing profession. I, for one, don't understand it. Sure, it's a bit tedious at times and can be slow-going, but you can make a lot of money with it. |
